Nepal badminton team left for Malaysia to take part in the Asian Badminton Championship to be held from April 10 to 20. Balram Thapa, Pashupati Paneru, Pankaj Chand, Bikash Shrestha, Sumina Shrestha and Sara Devi Tamang re players taking part in the Asian Badminton Championship. Coach Prakash Uday and manager Ramji Bahadur Shrestha, general secretary of Nepal Badminton Association also left with the players to Malaysia. Nepal will particiapte in five events — men and women’s singles and doubles and mixed doubles. Member secretary of National Sports Council Jeevan Ram Shrestha bade farewell to the Malaysia bound team.
