Tribhuvan Army Club and Central Region registered wins on the opening day of the 24th Men and 14th Women’s National Volleyball Tournament after they beat Armed Police Force Club 25-18, 14-25, 25-16, 25-23 and Mid-western Region 25-20, 25-9, 25-19 respectively. The army club also beat Western Region 25-15, 25-23, 25-19 while Mahendra Police Club gun down Mid-western Region 25-14, 25-12, 25-6 in the other matches of the day. Member secretary of the National Sports Council Jeevan Ram Shrestha inaugurated the tournament, which has been organised by Makwanpur Volleyball Association in Hetauda with the permission and technical help from Nepal Volleyball Association.
