Mahendra Police Club and Western Region team win 24th Men and 14th Women’s National Volleyball Championship at Heatuda. The 24th Men and 14th Women’s National Volleyball Championship is organized by Makawanpur District Volleyball Association with help and technical guidance from Nepal Volleyball Association. Mahendra Police Club (MPC) defeated Tribhuvan Army Club 25-20, 21-25, 25-21, 25-21 to win the men's title while Western Region beat Mahendra Police Club (MPC) 25-21, 21-25, 17-25, 25-23, 15-13 in the women’s final. State Minister for Education and Sports Mohan Singh Rathaur and Nepal Volleyball Association President Ganga Bahadur Thapa Magar gave away the prizes. This is the third straight time that MPC had won men's title while it is the 2nd women's title in a row for Western Regions Women's team.
