Match
No 60: Sankata Club (SC) Vs Kathmandu Club (KC)
KC, the relegation candidate came out all in attack
knowing that only win will secure their place in top
division football next year. And they attack from the
start of the match. But KC strikers lack the killer
instinct to score the goal and they paid the heavy
price. KC strikers missed 3 clear goal scoring chances
in the opening 5 minute of the game and Jibesh Pandey
punish them in the 6th minute. Madhav KC of KC handled
the ball in the d area and Jibesh slot home the spot
kick. And in 30th minute of the game Raj Kumar Ghissing
of SC scored a spectacular goal from 20 yard to sink his
former club.
Score:
SC 2 - 0 KC
Scorer: Jibesh Pandey, Raj Kumar Ghissing
Possession: SC (50%) KC (50%)
Man of the Match: Raj KUmar Ghissing (SC)
Match
No 61: Friends Cluc (FC) Vs Mahabir Club (MC)
MC still need some point to move up to the relegation
zone. But FC took the lead first in the 17 minute. Rishi
Rai scored the FC first goal. MC scored the equalizer in
the 35th minute to level the game and it remained 1 - 1
in the half time. But MC took the lead after the break
in 58 minute. Sudip Limbu Scored the goal. But their
never lasted long as Rabin Byanjankar scored in 73
minute to level the game and to steal a point from MC. I
really thought that MC will win as they played far
better than FC but their defense lack the communication
between themselves which resulted in two goals for FC.
Score:
FC 2 - 2 MC
Scorer: Rishi Rai, Rabin Byanjankar (FC) Bakhan
Rana Magar, Sudip Limbu (MC)
Possession: MC (60%) FC (40%)
Man of the Match: Sudip Limbu (MC)
Match
No 62: Ranipokhari Corner Team (RCT) Vs Brigade Boys
Club (BBC)
The unpredictable BBC side played like true
"B" division champion in this game. BBC took
the lead in 16th minute of the match through Biswo KC.
He scored from pass from Milan Chandra Rai. But RCT
equalized in the 32th minute through Deepak Limbu who
scored a spectacular header from Ramesh Gyawali. This
draw takes BBC to 10 point in the table and they still
have chance to sneak to the super six. RCT is now in 7
point and still in threat of relegation.
Score:
RCT 1 - 1 BBC
Scorer: Biswo KC (BBC) Deepak Limbu (RCT)
Possession: RCT (35%) BBC (65%)
Man of the Match: Milan Chandra Rai (BBC)
Match
No 63: Mahendra Police Club (MPC) Vs Boys Union Club (BUC)
MPC, the possible league champion and BUC possible
relegation favorite. BUC were no where near MPC in any
terms in this match. But BUC hold MPC until 41st minute.
But in 41st minute Raju Katuwal oppened the gate for MPC.
Than Rajesh shrestha scored in 46th minute followed by
Deepak Paudel (60), Parbat Pandey (62) and Ramesh
Budhathoki in 80th minute to complete the rout of 5 - 0.
This move MPC top of the table and BUC even more
possibility of relegation. BUC simply cannot match the
physical and technical ability of MPC. Very much
one-sided match to MPC.
Score:
BUC 0 - 5 MPC
Scorer: Raju Katuwal, Rakesh Shrestha, Deepak
Paudel, Parbat Pandey, Ramesh Budhathoki
Possession: BUC (30%) MPC (70%)
Man of the Match: Raju Katuwal (MPC)
Match
No 64: Mahabir Club (MC) Vs Kathmandu Club (KC)
Both teams are in the relegation zone and both teams
needed win. But it was MC that took the lead in the 37th
minute of the game. Krishna Gurung scored for MC. But KC
scored in the 42 minute through Rajesh Shrestha to level
the game. The result would have been different if
attempts by three KC players, Gokarna Adhikari, Amrit
Bajracharya and Roopesh Dhaubanjar wouldn't have hit the
post. KC played like wounded tiger to keep themselves in
the top division next year.
Score:
KC 1 - 1 MC
Scorer: Rajesh Shrestha (KC) Krishna Gurung (MC)
Possession: MC (50%) KC (50%)
Man of the match: Rajesh Shrestha (KC)
Match
No 65: Tribhuwan Army Club (TAC) Vs Jawlakhel Youth Club
(JYC)
The match was really the match of miss chances. TAC
should have won easily by better margins but JYC
goalkeeper and defenders were on fire to foil the TAC
attacks. Janamat Karki missed many clear goal scoring
chances and he only has himself to blame in few
occasions. This is 7th draw of JYC in the league and
they are still in hunt for the place in the super six.
Although TAC is already in super six, they should have
collected 3 point in this game to make easy for the
super six round.
Score:
TAC 0 - 0 JYC
Possession: TAC (60%) JYC (40%)
Man of the match: Hari Mahato (TAC)
