Match No 28: Three
Star Club (TSC) Vs Mahabir Club (MC)
The match was very competitive than it was expected.
Everybody expected a one side game to TSC and how many
goals they would score to MC. But the match went very
competitively and at the end of the match MC players
just can’t handle the pressure form TSC. It was in 87
Minute that TSC player Bishan Gauchan scored the only
goal of the match to hard earn 3 point for TSC. The
story would have been different if Surendra Tamang would
have converted the penalty. His penalty hit the post and
went out.
Score:
TSC 1 – 0 MC
Scorer:
Bishan Gauchan
Possession:
TSC (60%) MC (40%)
Man of the Match:
Bishan Gauchan (TSC)
Match No 29: New Road
Team (NRT) Vs Jawlakhel Youth Club (JYC)
Well JYC have drawn 3 out of 4 match played prior to
this match. As expected the match was goal less draw.
After this match draw JYC’s chance of getting on the
top six is virtually over and they have to surely settle
for the mid table position. There was never a WOW moment
in the match. The ball was in the middle of the pitch
most of the time and is the game of miss passes from
both teams. A boring game.
Score:
NRT 0 – 0 JYC
Possession:
JYC (50%) NRT (50%)
Man of the Match:
Nobody perform to the level
Match No 30: Sankata
Club (SC) Vs Tribhuwan Army Club (TAC)
Certainly the most entertaining match in the Martyrs
league played so far. Everybody expected TAC outclass
the injury hit SC. But it was SC who took the lead.
Nepal U 23 striker Rajkumar Ghissing scored the opening
goal in 12 minute after the good work by right hadn side
by his U 23 colleague Jibesh Pandey. Raj Kumar headed
the ball to the net after the good cross by Jjbesh. It
was Rajkumar again in 15 minute. JIbesh again the
provider. Jibesh pass the through ball through TAC
defence and even the energetic TAC defenders cannot
catch Rajkumar who scored SC’s second goal of the
game. But TAC never gave up. They press forward and
finally in 87 minute Janamat Karki get one goal back for
TAC and the game was 2nd minute of injury
time when Binod Lama scored own goal to gift TAC a draw.
Score:
TAC 2 – 2 SS
Scorer:
Raj Kumar Ghissing (2) SC, Janamat Karki (TAC), Binod
Lama (SC) own goal.
Possession:
TAC (60%) SC 940%)
Man of the Match:
Jibesh Pandey (SC)
Match No 31:
Ranipokhari Corner Team (RCT) Vs Boys union Club (BUC)
RCT expected to win this match to maintain their hope of
getting in to super six and they started brilliantly
from start. It was their new import from Dharan Kendra
limbu who scored on him RCT debut. He headed home form
Madhu Karki’s free kick. But on the dying minute of
the match BUC striker Sunil Subedi got the equalizer. He
also headed home from free kick from Suraj Khaling.
This match will be remembered for the unsporting behavior
of RCT midfielder Ramesh Gyawali. On the second half he
was substituted by RCT coach because of his poor
performance. An RCT fan was hooting against him for his
poor play and Ramesh showed the fan (only identified as
RCT hardcore fan KUMAR) middle finger. It was RCT
officials who take him to player box to cool down. But
soon after the match was finished he went on the parfait
and beat the fan with his helmet. And other RCT
supporter chase the player down to the player box. After
that incident the fans form the whole parfait went down
to the RCT player box to confront Ramesh. But RCT
officials and ANFA officials said they will take action
against the player and the crowd became cool. What a
shame on Ramesh. What an unsporting behaviour.
Score:
RCT 1 – 1 BUC
Scorer:
Kendra Limbu (RCT) Sunil Subedi (BUC)
Possession:
RCT (50%) BUC (50%)
Man of the Match:
Suraj Khalling (BUC)
Match No 32: Brigade
Boys Club (BBC) Vs Friends Club (FC)
FC, super six hopeful and BBC, relegation hopeful. The
match was on fire from the start. Referee have to show 5
yellow cards on the match. FC took the lead on 18 minute
through young Birat Thapa. BBC was impressive on making
moves but due to lack of quality striker they couldn’t
score. But it was substitute Bishwo KC who was barely 3
minute on the field
scored the equalizer for BBC on 88th minute
to earn 1 point. This draw puts more pressure on
Kathmandu Club which is still without a point.
BBC Coach Alan Cairns show unsporting behavior again in
this match. He abused referee using vulgar words. He
abuse the forth official showing middles finger and
using the F word. He was removed by ANFA officials form
the player box to the parafit after the protest from
fans. Lets see how ANFA will take action against him.
This is his third offence to referee’s in this league.
Score:
BBC 1 – 1 FC
Scorer:
Birat Thapa (FC) Bishwo KC (BBC)
Possession:
FC (65%) BBC (35%)
Man of the Match:
Birat Thapa
Match No 33: Mahendra
Police Club (MPC) Vs Jawlakhel Youth Club (JYC)
The match was played in high tempo. The police fans
showed their unsporting behavior once again in Dasarath
Rangasala. Everybody expected the MPC to easily to
overcome the JYC challenge but JYC have different idea.
JYC played defensive game with the strategy of hitting
the MPC defense on counter attack. MPC attacked more
than dozen
times before the break, even hit the bar twice but
cannot core the goal because of the heroic of JYC
custodian Bikash Malla. Bikash truly showed his class
and prove his price tag of Rs. 100,000 is worthy. He
again saved more than
dozen MPC attack in the second half also. And the
counter attack strategy of JYC almost paid off in 87th
minute when Gaurav Thapa put the ball in MPC net from a
cross from Meg Raj KC. Referee gave the goal but it was
linesman Kailash Shrestha who ruled the goal as offside.
JYC draw their 5th match in their 6 matches.
And police drop 2 points which might be crucial for
their Martyrs League campaign.
Score:
JYC 0 – 0 MPC
Possession:
MPC (65%) JYC (35%)
Man of the Match:
Bikash Malla (JYC)
