Match
No 66: New Road Team (NRT) Vs Brigade Boys Club (BBC)
NRT one of the possible team for super six got the
setback in this game with the unpredictable BBC as BBC
took the lead in the 15 minute of the game through Anil
Gurung. But Subash Rai of NRT equalized in the 37th
minute to level the game. He scored from the spot after
Bishnu Sunuwar of BBC brought down Hari Thakuri in the
box. But BBC took the lead again with the super
poacher’s goal from Min Gurung and he was fed by
superb pass from Shekhar Limbu. But on the 89th
minute Subash Rai scored his second of the match to
level the game. He received the pass from Hari Thakuri
after fooling the BBC goal keeper to score the goal. And
the match ended 2 – 2 which off course end the chance
of BBC to enter super six.
Score:
BBC 2 - 2 NRT
Scorer:
Subash Rai (NRT) Anil Gurung, Min Gurung (BBC)
Possession:
BBC (50%) NRT (50%)
Man of the Match:
Hari Thakuri (NRT)
Match No 67: Three
Star Club (TSC) Vs Boys Union Club (BUC)
TSC potential champions got better of BUC the potential
relegation candidate. But BUC duo of Sunil and Utsav did
trouble the TSC defense in couple of occasions. But
Surendra Tamang scored the first goal for TSC in the 28th
minute and Santosh Sahukhala scored the second in 45th
minute. But Sachindra Dhimal scored the only goal of BUC
in the game in the injury time of the first half. And
finaly Surendra Tamang scored his second and TSC’s
third on 73rd minute to seal the game and TSC
earn valuable 3 point for the super six.
Score:
TSC 3 – 1 BUC
Scorer:
Surendra Tamang (2) Santosh Sahukhala (TSC) Sachindra
Dhimal (BUC)
Possession:
TSC (60%) BUC (40%)
Man of the Match:
Surendra Tamang (TSC)
Match No 68:
Ranipokhari Corner Team (RCT) Vs Kathmandu Club (KC)
Two possible relegation candidates and both teams needed
win to survive in the top division. KC went all out in
attack but RCT took the through Deepak Limbu and doubled
their lead through Milan Shrestha in the second half.
The game was a total bad luck for KC as three of their
attempts hit the cross bar. KC is in real trouble after
they loose this game as they only have 4 points and they
need win in their last game against BUC to stay in the
top division.
Score:
RCT 2 – 0 KC
Scorer:
Deepak Limbu, Milan Shrestha
Possession:
KC (60%) RCT (40%)
Man of the Match:
Milan Shrestha (RCT)
Match
No 69: Friends Club (FC) Vs Tribhuwan Army Club (TAC)
Both teams needed win to challenge the top three in the
league. And they were all out on fire from the start of
the match. But it was TAC that took the lead through
Shiva Chaudhari but Chandra Tamang equalized in the 9th
minute for FC. Janamat Karki scored on the 56th
minute to take the lead and Hari Mahato scored the 3rd
goal for TAC to wrap up the game. FC just couldn’t
match the physical ability of TAC which is the only
difference between two teams. Both teams are technically
equal and the physical ability of TAC proved decisive in
the end. Good win by TAC to keep the pressure on the
top.
Score:
TAC 3 – FC
Scorer:
Chandra Tamang (FC) Shiva Chaudhari, Janamat Karki, Hari
Mahato (TAC)
Possession:
TAC (50%) FC (50%)
Man of the Match:
Hari Mahato (TAC)
Match No 70: Sankata
Club (SC) Vs Mahabir Club (MC)
The game was never played in the field by players. As
the result was fixed before the match by both club’s
officials. As MC have avoided the relegation they seems
like they are ready to grant SC 3 point. MC players
didn’t challenged any ball and player of SC and Jibesh
scored his first hatrik in the League and Raj kumar
scored the forth goal of SC as Prakash karki got the
consolation for MC. The game was truly a black patch in
the Nepalese football scene as it seems like the match
is fixed. There was a rumor in the stadium that SC paid
handsome amount to MC for three valuable points. As the
match seems fixed, no man of the match in this game.
Score:
SC 4 – 1 MC
Scorer: Jibesh
Pandey (3) Raj Kumar Ghissing (SC) Prakash Karki (MC)
Possession:
SC (50%) MC (50%)
Match No 71:
Mahendra Police Club (MPC) Vs New Road Team (NRT)
MPC
need three point to go to top of the table as NRT need
point to keep them in hunt for the place in the super
six. And NRT took the lead through Ritesh Khadka. NRT
kept the police on the bay through out the game but MPC
have the luck as Rajendra Shrestha scored maybe the
luckiest goal of the league. MPC didn’t perform to
their level and they loss valuable 2 point to keep
pressure on MMC and TSC. And NRT is now certain in the
super six.
Score:
MPC 1 – 1 NRT
Scorers: Rajendra Shrestha (MPC) Ritesh Khadka (NRT)
Possession:
NRT (60%) MPC (40%)
Man of the match:
Hari Thakuri
(MPC)
