Match No 72: Manang
Marshyangdi Club (MMC) Vs Three Star Club (TSC)
Clash of the titans. Thats what journalist called
this match and about 15000 people come to rangasala to witnessed
the huge top of the table clash. Both teams played
brilliant football with the classy skills and full of
pace. And it was TSC that took the lead first through
Santosh Sahukhala. He scored from the pass from Surendra
Tamang. But the goal scoring machine of MMC Basanta
Thapa level the game in 61th minute with the sensational
strike form out side the d box. Very good point earned
by TSC to move top of the table and to make huge lead in
the top.

Tribhuwan Army Club (TAC) Vs Brigade Boys Club (BBC)
TAC come all out fire with their full strength and BBC
the unpredictable side of this years league gave tough
time for TAC. BBC had nothing to loose as they have
escaped relegation and TAC needs three points for super
six. And they did exactly that as TAC took lead through
Shiva Chaudhari and Hari Mahato made it 2 0 for the
army and this three point moved TAC in third place in
the table. Janamat Karki of TAC showed his class and he
created the opportunity for both goals.

Union Club (BUC) Vs Kathmandu Club (KC)
Relegation battle. KC need win and BUC need draw to
survive in the top division. And it was BUC that took
the lead. Sunil Subedi scored the precise goal to make 1
-+ 0 for BUC. But Rupesh Dhaubanjar equalized for KC in
35th minute and Binod Tamrakar made it 2
1 for KC in the 47th minute. KC made it 3
1 in the 54 th minute through Birandra Rai. And it
seemed like KC will survive and BUC will go down. But
BUC pull one back in 20th minute through
Utsav KC to make 2 4 for BUC. KC were 3 2 up
until the 85th minute. But on 86th
minute Bijay Maharjan leveled the game for BUC. And
Sunil Subedi scored the last minute winner for BUC to
sink KC. And KC are finally relegated and they will play
the B division league next year.

Jawlakhel Youth Club (JYC) Vs Ranipokhari Corner Team (RCT)
JYC needed win to keep hope for their super six. And RCT
have just avoided relegation and they just played for
formality in their last game as they are already out of
reach for super six. But RCT took the lead in 69th
minute through Rajan Gauchan. But Anjan KC scored a
spectacular free kick to level the game and Anjan KC
again scored in the 89th minute to win the
game for JYC and JYC now have hope of getting in to
super six.

Club (SC) Vs Friends Club (FC)
Both teams needed win to secure the place in super six
and both teams played aggressively. But FC striker
Nirajan Khadka scored the only goal of the game to take
FC to the super six. FC has 17 points to move them up to
the 5th place.

Star Club (TSC) Vs New Road Team (NRT)
NRT needed win or 2 2 draw to make it to super six.
But TSC have other ideas. TSC striker Santosh Sahukhala
scored two goals to take 3 point lead in the top of the
table. NRT are now out of the super six. Bijay Gurung of
TSC and Bimal karki of NRT were sent off due to
unsporting behavior.

Mahendra Police Club (MPC) Vs Manang Marshyangdi Club (MMC)
Another top of the table clash and the defending
champion MMC take on runners up MPC. Both teams are
eager to win the match to earn three points for their
team. The match was very competitive and about 10000
fans came to the stadium to witness the match. The draw
moved MPC to second place.
