Summary: Even though Nepal took the lead on a Nirajan
Rayamajhi tap in, off of a Basanta Thapa shot that hit the woodwork,
Maldives roared back and knocked Nepal out of the SAFF Cup. Maldives
dominated this match and Nepal had very few shots on goal. Upendra
Man Singh stopped a penalty kick from Mahamed Nizam in the first
half and Dev Narayan hit one late to make the score line look
respectable. |
