ANFA to pull plug on World Cup?
12 November 2003:
Ganesh Thapa stated that Nepal might opt out of the World Cup qualifiers because of budgetary problems and Nepal's poor showing in the Asian Cup. Nepal is scheduled to play the Pacific island of Guam in the qualifiers.

Old guard to get the ax!
12 November 2003:
The national team is supposedly due for an overhaul. After Nepal's dismal showing in the Asian Cup, many of the veterans are likely to be replaced by younger players, mainly graduates of the ANFA Academy. Players like Upendra Man Singh have already called it quits.

36 Million budget
10 November 2003:
For the first time ANFA released its annual budget to the public. This year's budget is expected to be 36 million Rupees.

Runaways banned 10 years
10 November 2003:
ANFA banned the three national team players that ran away in South Korea, Deepak Lama, Narayan Manandhar and Sukra Tamang, for ten years.
