Anapurna Stadium |

|
|
Location: Pokhara
Club: (Various)
Capacity: appx. 5,000
Seats:
Covered seats: appx. 200
Built: ??
As with all sports facilities in Nepal,
Anapurna Stadium is a dilapidated venue in one of the most beautiful
places on earth. The stadium is located on the outskirts of the main
part of Pokhara. There is an abundance of flat land around the stadium
and it can easily be expanded. The stadium sits in a large sports
complex that belongs to the Nepal Sports Council, thus it is unlikely
that any improvements will be made to it anytime soon. While the pitch
looks to be in good shape in the photos, often it is very muddy and
cattle graze on the grass regularly.
